Job Position Description

This position is responsible for creating cleaner, healthier environments for our customers, their students, and grounds by performing the following duties. Other duties may be assigned:

• Perform cleaning duties using provided products, tools, and procedures, including sweeping, mopping, polishing, trash removal, window cleaning, and moving furniture.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Use proper PPE where required.
• Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems as needed.
• 2-5 years’ experience as a custodian, janitor, or housekeeper is a plus but not required; training provided.
• Experience in professional janitorial services, office complexes, hotels, hospitals, or schools is advantageous.
• Must be flexible, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and multitask effectively.
• Contribute positively to the work environment, be dependable, punctual, and in uniform.
• Respect and understanding for coworkers and customers.
• Ability to communicate in English.

Physical Demands and Qualifications

• Constant standing, walking, pushing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, twisting, reaching overhead and forward. Must lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to read cleaning instructions and differentiate between cleaning products and their uses.
