Description:

Job Overview: Responsible for the daily detailed cleaning of hotels and/or restaurants, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Tasks include vacuuming, buffing floors, shampooing carpets, emptying trash receptacles, and replacing trash can liners.

Responsibilities:

1. Sweep and mop floors.
2. Clean buildings by emptying trash, sweeping, and cleaning kitchens.
3. Perform tasks such as locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliances to prevent hazards.
4. Use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces.
5. Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, kitchens, and public areas.
6. Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean.
7. Apply wax to coat floors and buff.
8. Apply sealant to floors.
9. Clean restrooms with mops and disinfectants.
10. Move heavy equipment and furniture.
11. Identify and report possible repairs.
12. Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.
