Job summary

SUN MAR HEALTH CARE's Heritage Manor in Monterey Park is seeking an on-call Janitor/Housekeeper to join the care team and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents.

You will perform day-to-day housekeeping duties, cross-train for laundry backup, and ensure compliance with facility regulations while building respectful relationships with residents.

REPORTS TO: Housekeeping Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE

Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position requires the following qualifications:

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
• Cross train to back up Laundry Department when needed
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
• Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manor
• Adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities
• Develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents
• Maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents
