Job summary

Mission Carmichael HealthCare is seeking an on-call Janitor/Housekeeper to join our clinical team and maintain a clean, safe environment for residents at Mission Carmichael Post-Acute. Reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and supports the Laundry Department as needed.

Open Date 9/21/2026. Full-Time position located at Mission Carmichael Post-Acute, with duties including evening shifts and a focus on hospitality and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping duties in healthcare setting preferred.
• Ability to adhere to facility regulations and safety rules.
• Strong interpersonal skills with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
• Cross train to back up Laundry Department when needed
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
• Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manor
• Adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities
• Develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents
• Maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents

JOB PURPOSE

Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
