Mission Carmichael HealthCare is seeking an on call Janitor/Housekeeper to perform day-to-day housekeeping functions within a skilled nursing facility. The role reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor and supports the Laundry department when needed.

You will help maintain a clean, safe, and attractive environment for residents, adhere to facility regulations, and foster a friendly rapport with residents while safeguarding confidentiality.

Job Purpose

Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

This position requires the following qualifications:

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions as assigned
• Cross train to back up Laundry Department when needed
• Perform specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments
• Ensure that assigned work areas are maintained in a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive manor
• Adhere to all current regulations governing nursing facilities
• Develop a friendly, helpful rapport with residents
• Maintain the confidentiality and rights of all residents
