Responsibilities

  • Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, and polishes floors.
  • Sanitize workspace per AFSPC Custodial Services Standards.
  • Removes trash and recyclables, dusts furniture or fixtures.
  • Polishes metal fixtures or trimmings.
  • Cleans lavatories, showers, toilets, urinals, walls, and restroom sinks.
  • Ensures that restrooms and janitorial closets are clean and stocked.
  • Cleans inside and outside of windows and glass doors.
  • Complies with requirements identified in the Performance Work Statement and Contract Task Order.
  • Tracks janitorial consumables usage and submits timely purchase request for restock.
  • Supports the company and established goals and objectives, with emphasis on workplace safety policy and guidelines.
  • Assists in special events or mission requirements to include cleaning of all tables, chairs, trash receptacles and recyclable receptacles.
  • Change out and install light bulbs / tubes on fixtures ten feet and below.
  • Performs additional janitorial duties as directed by supervisor.
  • Performs Grounds maintenance inside designated areas of responsibility.
  • Assist Supply personnel with loading and offloading equipment to JBPHH.

Qualifications

  • Able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Positive verbal communication skills with internal and external customers.
  • Ability to work safely, independently or with teams.
  • Must be courteous with positive customer service skills.
  • Detailed oriented and must be able to work with minimum supervision.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Possess a clean DMV driving record and valid driver’s license

Physical Demands:

  • Work requires long periods of walking, standing, bending, stooping, squatting, and climbing.
  • Pushing work cart with janitorial equipment and transporting cart and supplies to various outbuildings during various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
  • Ability to lift heavy items from 5-50 pounds continuously.
  • High dusting, requiring the use of a ladder.
  • Some confined space access is necessary to clean equipment, mechanical rooms or under raised flooring.
