Job Description: Janitor

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Janitor positions at SSC. The details are as follows:

• Location: JO Combs Custodial - 43371 North Kenworth Road, San Tan Valley, AZ 85140. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm. Additional details provided during the interview.
• Requirement: Must be able to obtain a Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Pay Range: $14.70 to $16.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Maintains cleanliness and order in buildings, performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and mops floors, moves equipment and furniture for cleaning, and restores furniture placement.
• Cleans assigned areas using proper materials and equipment, sanitizes surfaces, and follows the eight-step cleaning process.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to ensure a clean environment.
• Identifies areas needing cleaning and completes tasks proactively.
• Follows all federal, state, and local guidelines during work.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, refinish floors, and shampoos carpets.
• Contributes to team efforts and maintains professionalism.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
