We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Janitor positions at SSC.

Location

Cartersville Pre-K - 315 Elotway Drive, Cartersville, GA 30120. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time schedules; days may vary, typically from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 9:30 pm. More details provided during interview.

Requirements

No prior experience required.

Pay Range

$11.00 to $13.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Keeps buildings clean and orderly, performing heavy cleaning duties such as floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for cleaning and restore them after.
• Clean assigned areas using appropriate materials and equipment, sanitize surfaces, and follow the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Identify areas needing cleaning and complete tasks proactively.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisors.
• Follow all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff, and refinish floors; shampoo carpets.
• Contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
