Job summary

Compass Group USA's SSC Services for Education is hiring immediately for full time and part time JANITOR positions at Upper Darby, PA 19026 (601 North Lansdowne Ave). Applications are accepted online only.

Responsibilities include heavy cleaning, trash disposal, dusting, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and moving furniture as needed. You will follow infection control procedures and work with a team to maintain safe, clean facilities for students and staff.

• Prior experience with general cleaning is required.

• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules; Monday through Friday, hours may vary. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: Prior experience with general cleaning is required.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
