Job summary

SSC Services for Education is hiring immediately for full-time JANITOR positions at Garnet Valley Schools in Glen Mills, PA. Flexible scheduling includes 3:00 pm–11:30 pm or 6:30 am–3:00 pm, with potential for multiple locations within the district.

You will perform heavy cleaning duties, sanitation, trash disposal, and floor care, following approved procedures. Prior custodial and customer service experience is preferred, and benefits include a comprehensive package and same-day pay.

Responsibilities

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures.
• Dusts and damp mops floors.
• Moves equipment and furniture for cleaning and place furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean environment.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers and coworkers.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• We are hiring immediately for full time JANITOR positions.
• Location: Garnet Valley Schools - 80 Station Road, Glen Mills, PA 19342. (Hiring for multiple locations) (Openings at other locations within school district available) Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule; days may vary, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm or 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. More details upon interview. (Full and Part Time with the flexibility to meet most scheduling needs)
• Requirement: Prior custodial and customer service experience is preferred.
• Pay Range: $16.00per hour to$17.00 per hour.

• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
