We are hiring immediately for full-time JANITOR positions.

Location: DYouville University - 320 Porter Avenue, Buffalo, NY 14201

Requirement: At least 1 year of prior janitorial experience required.

Pay Rate: $15.80 per hour.

Job Summary:

Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of buildings, performs heavy cleaning duties including floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties:

• Disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and mops floors, moves and replaces furniture as needed.
• Cleans assigned areas with appropriate materials and equipment, sanitizes surfaces, follows the eight-step cleaning process.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items.
• Identifies and completes cleaning tasks proactively.
• Follows all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinish floors; shampoos carpets.
• Contributes to team efforts, exhibits professionalism.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
