Job Opening: Janitor

We are hiring immediately for full-time Janitor positions at SSC.

Location: HSC Houston Jn - 2121 West Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, TX 77030. Note: Online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm. More details provided during the interview.

Requirements: At least three years of janitorial experience.

Pay Range: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour

Job Summary

Maintains cleanliness and orderliness of buildings by performing heavy cleaning duties, including floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Disposes of trash according to approved procedures and infection control plans.
2. Dusts and mops floors following established procedures.
3. Moves and replaces equipment and furniture for cleaning.
4. Uses assigned materials and equipment to clean surfaces, following the eight-step cleaning process.
5. Washes walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards to ensure a safe environment.
6. Identifies areas needing cleaning and completes tasks proactively.
7. Follows all federal, state, and local guidelines during tasks.
8. Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinish floors; shampoos carpets.
9. Works collaboratively and professionally with team members and customers.
10. Performs additional duties as assigned.
