Job Title: Janitor

• We are hiring immediately for full-time JANITOR positions.
• Location: SSC Little Rock School - 9715 Mabelvale Pike, Little Rock, AR 72204. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday. Hours may vary; more details upon interview.
• Requirements: One year of janitorial experience preferred. Willing to train!
• Pay Range: $14.25 - $15.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Keeps buildings clean and orderly. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and replaces furniture correctly.
• Cleans assigned areas with the use of designated materials and equipment. Sanitizes all surfaces following the eight-step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Identifies areas needing cleaning; takes initiative to complete tasks.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinish floors; shampoos carpets.
• Contributes to team efforts; exhibits professionalism with customers and colleagues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
