Job Summary

Summary: Maintains building cleanliness and orderliness. Performs heavy cleaning duties, including floor cleaning, rug shampooing, wall and glass washing, and rubbish removal. Essential Duties include:

• Collecting and disposing of trash per approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusting and mopping floors.
• Moving and replacing furniture and equipment for cleaning.
• Cleaning assigned areas with proper materials and equipment, sanitizing all surfaces, following the eight-step cleaning process.
• Cleaning walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards to maintain a safe environment.
• Identifying areas needing cleaning and completing tasks proactively.
• Following all federal, state, and local guidelines.
• Stripping, scrubbing, buffing, and refinishing floors; shampooing carpets.
• Contributing to team efforts and exhibiting professionalism.
• Performing additional duties as assigned.
