Job summary

National Star Services in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Janitor/ Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas. The role requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish and prior janitorial experience.

Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with pay at $15.00 per hour. Duties include sweeping floors, emptying trash, mopping break rooms, locker rooms and offices, detailing and removing trash from trucks, and regularly patrolling the yard and parking areas.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
• Two valid, updated forms of ID.
• Must have experience in Janitorial/ Cleaning services.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be ready to start working as soon as possible.

Job Responsibilities: Maintain the cleanliness of the shop and surrounding areas. Duties include sweeping shop floors, emptying shop garbage cans, and mopping the break room, locker room, and office. Perform basic detailing and remove trash from trucks. Regularly walk the yard and pick up trash from the parking lot and surrounding areas.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
From 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay rate: $15.00 HR!
Bi-weekly Pay!
Requirements:

• Per our client’s request, Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required for this role.
