SSC is hiring immediately for a full-time JANITOR position.

Location: Aurora University - 347 S Gladstone Ave, Aurora IL 60506 (Openings at other locations within the school district available). Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, varying days, 4:15 PM - 12:45 AM. More details provided upon interview. Flexibility for full and part-time schedules to meet most needs.

Requirements: At least 2 years of janitorial experience.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour

Job Summary: Maintain cleanliness of buildings, perform heavy cleaning duties including floors, rugs, walls, glass, and rubbish removal. Essential duties include:

1. Disposing of trash following procedures and infection control plans.
2. Dusting and mopping floors.
3. Moving and replacing furniture as needed.
4. Cleaning and sanitizing surfaces with proper procedures.
5. Cleaning walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, etc.
6. Identifying and completing cleaning needs proactively.
7. Following supervisor instructions and all relevant guidelines.
8. Floor stripping, scrubbing, buffing, refinishing, and carpet shampooing.
9. Contributing to team professionalism and customer service.
10. Performing additional duties as assigned.
