Job summary

A staffing and solutions firm is seeking candidates for a cleaning role in the Town of Mineral Point, Wisconsin. The responsibilities include cleaning bathrooms, sweeping production floors, and maintaining lunchrooms. Ideal candidates should be able to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and meet a clean background and drug screening requirement. This is a 3rd shift position and requires no GED, but candidates must be 18 years or older.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
• Requires the ability to be 18 years or older and have a clean criminal and drug record.

Responsibilities

• Complete cleaning of all bathrooms and water fountains twice per shift.
• Sweep and clean the production floor with a power sweeper and scrubber.
• Clean the lunchroom once per shift after lunch break, including mopping floors.
• Empty cardboard containers into proper disposal containers.
• Empty all garbage cans on the production floor, offices, and lunch room as needed.
• Shovel and salt sidewalks and door entries as needed.
• Advise ordering personnel when supplies are low.
• Clean windows on the production floor as needed.
• Clean offices and office areas once a week, including floors.
• Clean fluorescent lighting on the production floor as needed.
• Keep the lunchroom kitchen clean.
• Support maintenance clean-ups as needed.
• Bale cardboard.
• Work in a safe manner.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
