Job summary

GDI, Inc. in Illinois is seeking General Cleaners to maintain a food manufacturing facility. You will work as part of a crew to ensure cleanliness and sanitary conditions in production areas.

Responsibilities include cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, dusting, trash removal, sweeping, mopping and vacuuming, while following supervisor instructions and safety guidelines. Experience is a plus, but not required; reliable transportation and steel-toed shoes may be needed depending on location.

• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.

• Monday - Thursday - 8:00AM - 2:00PM & Sunday 8:00AM - 2:00PM

• Cleaning of a food manufacturing facility
• Cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, dusting and trash removal
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming

Requirements:

• Experience with cleaning industrial buildings a plus, but not required
• Must have the ability to work with other crew members
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Steel toed shoes required when applicable
• Ability to work in hot conditions
