Job summary

Horne Kia is seeking a dependable janitor/custodian to maintain the showroom, customer lounge, offices, and service bays. You will ensure a clean, welcoming environment reflecting the dealership’s standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning showrooms, restrooms, offices, and breakrooms; stocking supplies; and securing areas at shift end. Requires 8–9 hour shifts with some early hours and weekends. Benefits include medical and vision coverage and employee vehicle discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience with maintenance/janitorial tasks.
• Ability to stand for 8–9 hours.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors.
• Basic fix-it capability for small repairs.

Horne Kia is looking for a dependable and hardworking janitor/custodian to join our maintenance team. You will be responsible for maintaining our showroom, customer waiting areas, offices and service bays. Your work ensures a clean, welcoming environment that reflects our dealership’s standards.

Responsibilities

• Showroom and customer lounge: Sweep and mop showroom floors and customer lounge waiting area and wipe down all high-touch surfaces.
• Restrooms: Deep clean and sanitize customer and employee restrooms daily, restocking all paper products and soap dispensers.
• Offices & Common Areas: Dust desks, wipe down glass doors and windows, and empty trash and recycling receptacles throughout the facility.
• Service Department: Maintain a clean, hazard‑free environment in the parts department and employee breakrooms.
• Supply management: Monitor cleaning supply inventory and notify management when reordering is necessary.
• Security and Safety: Lock up and secure designated areas at the end of your shift.

Requirements

• Experience with maintenance/janitorial skills is preferred.
• Must be able to work on your feet for an 8-9 hour shift.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors occasionally
• Ability to fix small items when the need arises.
• Full-time position, 36-40 hours a week, with some early hour shifts and weekend shifts
