Job summary

Goodwill Industries of North Louisiana Inc. is seeking a reliable janitor for day shifts in Alexandria, LA. The role requires integrity, strong customer service, and attention to detail to maintain a clean, safe facility for clients and staff.

Position is full-time with a $10.00 hourly wage. Duties include daily cleaning, safety compliance, and adhering to OSHA standards, with work occurring Monday through Friday at CLTCC 2nd St location in Alexandria.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education preferred.
• Previous janitorial experience is preferred.
• Based on the contract we service, it is preferred that this position be filled with a person having a disability which can be proven with proper medical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills contractual requirements by maintaining an attractive, sanitary, and safe facility for clients, employees, staff, and the public; minimizing property damage, loss, and liability exposure.
• Work will be accomplished in a safe and productive manner following all OSHA standards.
• Work is performed during the day hours, Monday through Friday, in order to meet Government and/or Commercial Contract Specifications.

Job Location: CLTCC 2nd St - Alexandria, LA 71301, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: $10.00 - $10.00 Hourly, Looking for reliable candidates with integrity, excellent customer service skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to withstand the physical demands of the position (continuous walking, bending, lifting, and reaching).
