Job summary

National Star Services in Cedar Rapids, IA 52404 is seeking a reliable Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean and safe work environment. You will sweep, mop, disinfect surfaces, and keep truck interiors clean as needed, following safety guidelines.

The position requires bilingual English and Spanish and reliable transportation. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with pay at $15.00 per hour, bi-weekly.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
• Two valid, updated forms of ID are required.
• Experience in janitorial/cleaning services.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
• Must be ready to start working as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and degrease shop floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize office common areas.
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and workstations as directed.
• Clean the interiors of trucks (sometimes when needed).
• Collect and dispose of trash properly.
• Follow all safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and shop materials.
• Assist with additional duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.

National Star Services is a 27-year-old facility management company providing different services all nationwide and we are now in search of a Janitor/ Cleaner for our location in Cedar Rapids, IA 52404!

Job Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, and degrease shop floors to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Clean and sanitize office common areas.
• Wipe down and disinfect surfaces, equipment, and workstations as directed.
• Clean the interiors of trucks (sometimes when needed).

Pay rate:

$15.00 HR! Bi-weekly Pay!
