Position Overview

The Janitor / Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for Members and staff, fostering a culture of cleanliness in our facilities.

Responsibilities

1. Handle Member situations, concerns, and feedback effectively and efficiently.
2. Follow all safety and security procedures, maintain cleaning equipment and materials in a safe, sanitary condition per OSHA guidelines.
3. Monitor and report repairs, maintenance issues, and safety hazards.
4. Operate mechanical cleaning equipment.
5. Vacuum, clean carpets, rugs, and draperies.
6. Clean, dust, and polish furniture, fixtures, and ceiling fans.
7. Empty and sanitize trash containers.
8. Clean wash basins, mirrors, and showers.
9. Wipe down glass surfaces and windows.
10. Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors.
11. Perform other duties as assigned to support O2 Fitness's mission and vision.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles preferred.
• Experience cleaning gyms or similar facilities is a plus.
