Job summary

CCS Facility Services is seeking a dedicated Janitor to keep facilities clean, organized, and disinfected. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas; stocking supplies and maintaining a clean inventory; and following safety procedures. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and close doors at night.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Clean interior of buildings including floors, carpets, windows and walls.
• Disinfect desks, door handles, office tools, phones and restrooms.

Responsibilities

• Clean interiors of buildings including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in offices, rooms, halls, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs and other areas.
• Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Disinfect commonly touched items and surfaces such as desks, door handles, phones.
• Empty trash and recycling and manage disposal.
• Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions and maintain cleaning charts.
• Follow safety rules and assist with inventory of cleaning supplies.
