TWIN PEAKS JOB DESCRIPTION: JANITOR / BUSSER

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB

This role involves cleaning and maintaining the Twin Peaks restaurant. Each team member is expected to uphold pride, high standards, and discipline in keeping the restaurant clean and sanitized.

THE UNIFORM

• Wear the TP black hat facing forward at all times, with the brim never bent.
• Keep hair clean and tucked underneath the TP hat.
• Maintain a clean-shaven face; beards and mustaches are allowed but must be well-groomed.
• Keep fingernails trimmed.
• Avoid wearing jewelry in ears, face, neck, or wrists.
• Do not wear headphones or earbuds.
• Wear a clean, non-faded, and wrinkle-free TP kitchen shirt tucked in.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adhere to uniform standards and policies for cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintain organized stations and equipment.
• Follow HOH standards, safety, sanitation, and GHS requirements at all times.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Use tablets or computers for training purposes.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, such as sweeping, mopping, and cleaning tables.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Proven experience as a Janitor or Busser.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to communicate effectively in English and understand cleaning and sanitation policies and procedures.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to follow simple instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variables.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Attend orientation and training as required, including any local or state certifications such as food or alcohol service.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to stand, walk, handle objects, and communicate effectively. Occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Vision abilities include close, peripheral, and depth perception.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Exposure to kitchen fumes, humid conditions, cleaning chemicals, and possibly cigarette or cigar smoke in smoking sections. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
