Job summary

Chelten House Products, LLC in Bridgeport, NJ, invites applications for a Mon-Fri overnight Janitor (10:00 pm–6:30 am) to clean production plant facilities, restrooms, floors, rails, and entrances, ensuring a safe, sanitary environment in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.

You will operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and shop vacs, lift up to 50 lbs regularly, and work independently while following all company policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months years of experience in facilities cleaning/maintenance.
• Previous experience using a commercial floor scrubber/buffer.
• Ability to work independently.
• Time management skills to complete all assigned duties daily.
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the daily cleaning of production plant facilities, equipment and surfaces including the following.
• Employee restroom maintenance (cleaning and stocking).
• Guard rails, hand rails, and other contact surfaces
• Window cleaning
• Production and warehouse floors
• Entrance and exit ways
• Responsible for disposal of trash
• Separation of trash and recyclable materials
• Collection and replacement of trash containers on the production lines
• Use of compactor machines for both trash and recycling disposal
• Work safely in a production/manufacturing environment, adhering to all company policies, practices and procedures
