Job summary

Millcreek Township School District is seeking a Janitor for the 2nd shift at Westlake Middle School in Erie, PA. The role focuses on keeping classrooms and facilities clean and safe for students and staff.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces such as desks, vents, lighting fixtures, lockers, tables, countertops, and computers.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor plumbing issues.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Respond to requests from staff regarding cleaning and minor maintenance issues. Input work order if issue identified is not within scope of job responsibilities.
• Adhere to district policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Any other duties assigned by the Superintendent or their designee.
