SHIFT/TIME
  • Saturday, 1st Shift – 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Tuesday – Friday, 2nd Shift – 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

Job Goal

Job Goal: Provide students/staff with a safe and clean learning and working environment. Assist with identifying communicating, repairing, and moving equipment or facility damage.

Performance Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the building.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
  • Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces such as desks, vents, lighting fixtures, lockers, tables, countertops, and computers.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor plumbing issues.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Respond to requests from staff regarding cleaning and minor maintenance issues. Input work order if issue identified is not within scope of job responsibilities.
  • Adhere to district policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Superintendent or their designee.

  • Ability to sit, talk, or hear.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and move quickly when necessary to promote student learning and/or safety.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push items of 50 lbs. such as pushing children in a wheelchair or moving/rearranging furniture.
Sensorial Ability
  • Ability to speak clearly and distinctly.
  • Auditory acuity to be able to use telephone.
  • Visual acuity to read correspondence and computer screen.
