Job summary

Flagship is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across client facilities in the United States. The role emphasizes safe handling of cleaning substances, proper use of equipment, and adherence to security regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED and 6+ months of janitorial experience, with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Competitive hourly wage and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 6 or more months experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions required.
• Completion of significant safety training is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and disinfecting various areas within assigned area.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and ensure hygienic conditions at all times.
• Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas.
• Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies to ensure safety.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and other objects.
• Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.
• Ensure compliance with airport security and safety regulations.
• Assist in special cleaning projects as needed.
