Job summary

The Salvation Army seeks a reliable janitorial worker to maintain property and grounds to safety, cleanliness and appearance standards in a typical office setting. The role includes cleaning, restrooms, and assisting with deliveries and seasonal tasks.

Responsibilities also cover coordinating with supervision on repairs and supplies, and supporting setup for meetings while accommodating diverse coworker needs. The work environment includes some outdoor activity and standard hours.

• Assist with unloading and put away of any donations received.
• Assist with seasonal activities and assistance.

Job Objective : Maintain property and grounds accordance with acceptable standards of safety, cleanliness and appearance. Properties include building, grounds and equipment serving the building.

Essential Functions:

• Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum hallways, sta irs, restrooms and office space
• Empty all trash , break down cardboard
• I nspect and notify management concerning needs for major rep airs, safety or security issues
• Advise direct supervisor of janito rial and building supply needs

Minimum Qualifications:

Education : High School Diploma or GED preferred

Experience : Janitorial and maintenance expe rience preferred but not required
