Job summary

Hearts 4 Him Inc in Tomball, TX is looking for a dedicated janitor to maintain cleanliness and safety of our building. You will vacuum, mop, scrub restrooms, replace lights, and manage trash while taking pride in a job well done.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in janitorial work, a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation, and strong stamina with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of janitorial experience is required.
• Driver's license or reliable transportation is required.
• Experience with cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment is required.
• Excellent stamina and physical health are required.
• Must be a hard worker with high attention to detail and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the building.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily.
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis.
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees.
• Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete.
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs.
