Responsibilities

• Follows training and contracts guidelines for all assigned janitorial work.
• Performs cleaning tasks safely and in compliance with safety requirements.
• Maintains quality standards per company and project guidelines.
• Dry mops, sanitizes, and wets mops floors.
• Cleans baseboards, corners, edges, walls, doors and windows as needed.
• Vacuuming and cleaning restrooms, showers, lockers, and related areas.
• Stocks restrooms and breakrooms with supplies as directed.
• Removes trash and recycles according to directions, cleans water fountains.
• Cleans interior and exterior glass and general fixtures.
• Mixes chemicals and cleaning fluids as necessary.
• Reports repairs needed for furniture, building or fixtures.
• Maintains professional, supportive interaction with customers and coworkers.
• Communicates effectively with management and staff.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

The Janitor will perform associated with commercial custodial cleaning of buildings.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs all assigned work following the training provided and in compliance with Corporate, Project, and/or Contractual guidelines.


• Performs all assigned work safely and conforms with Company/Project safety requirements.


• Performs all assigned work in a way that meets quality expectations and complies with Corporate, Project, and/or Contractual Quality guidelines.


• Dry Mops, sanitizes, and wet mops floors.


• Cleans baseboards, corners, and edges.


• Spot cleans walls, doors, and windows as required.


• Vacuums carpet.


• Cleans and disinfects restroom commodes, urinals, showers, partitions, floors, and walls.


• Cleans and disinfects group/shower locker rooms to include all vertical and horizontal walls and lockers.


• Stocks restroom toilet paper, paper towels, seat covers, and soap dispensers.


• Stocks breakrooms with paper towels and hand soap.


• Empties trash cans.


• Collects recyclables and places them as directed in collection areas.


• Cleans water fountains.


• Cleans interior and exterior glass.


• Mixes chemicals/cleaning fluids, as necessary.


• Observes and reports the need for repair of furniture, building, and fixtures.


• Presents a professional, positive, and helpful attitude when interacting with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.


• Maintains effective communication with management, employees, and customers.


• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Education and Experience:
