Job summary

McKesson is hiring a Full-Time Janitor for the MMS division in the United States. The role supports maintaining clean, safe facilities on a typical Monday–Friday schedule with standard 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Use janitorial supplies, clean restrooms, and remove garbage.
• Maintain industrial batteries and battery area cleanliness.
• Maintain general building cleanliness.
• Dust, sweep, mop, and buff floors as needed.
• Polish furniture/fixtures and supply janitorial materials.
• Clean lavatories, showers, and restrooms.

A McKesson Medical-Surgical (MMS), which is expected to become Wellverse in early 2027, is a subsidiary and publicly reported segment of the McKesson Corporation. MMS distributes medical-surgical supplies, pharmaceuticals, diagnostic equipment and supplies, along with other solutions and services to virtually every type of healthcare setting and provider outside of the traditional hospital. We currently have the following shift available to add to our team: Monday to Friday 4:00AM until 12:30PM 8 hour shifts – There are times when shifts may be extended past your work schedule time, overtime is compensated $18.84 plus overnight $1.50/hr

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining premises and work areas of offices and industrial buildings.
• Uses janitorial supplies, maintains restroom areas and removes garbage.
• Maintain Industrial batteries
• Maintain battery area cleanliness
• Maintain general building cleanliness
• Maintains premises, rest and working areas of offices and industrial buildings in clean and orderly condition
• Performs a combination of dusting furniture, walls, fixtures, or equipment; sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, or buffing floors
• Removing refuse
• Polishing furniture, fixtures, or trimmings; providing janitorial supplies; and cleaning lavatories, showers, or restrooms

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1+ year of experience performing janitorial services
• Experience Operating Power Equipment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry 20 – 50 pounds
