Job summary

Boeing in Ridley Park, PA is hiring for an on-site janitorial role responsible for cleaning common areas and offices, maintaining restrooms, and disposing of waste according to safety standards. The position operates on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM).

• Must have a Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach, kneel, push, and pull for the duration of the shift.
• Must have the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and push/pull using up to 45 pounds of force.
• Must have the ability to work 2nd shift (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM).
• Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties to ensure common areas and offices are clean and sanitary.
• Clean, deposit trash, and move recycles to designated areas for disposition.
• Scrub, sweep, polish floors, walls, office furniture, and remove waste.
• Clean washrooms and maintain supplies of soap, towels, and cleaning items.
• Store hand trucks, mop buckets and other equipment in an orderly fashion and in designated locations.
• Clean partitions and windows, and polish metal ornamental surfaces.
• Perform general housekeeping operations.
• Use all tools, materials, equipment, and instruments necessary in the performance of the work of this classification.
• Perform work in accordance with instructions and company safety, workmanship, and good housekeeping standards.
• Must have the ability to safely operate standard janitorial tools and equipment after training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous commercial, industrial, custodial, or janitorial experience.

Other Relevant Information and Requirements

This is an hourly position governed by the UAW Collective Bargaining agreement.

Starting Pay Range: $19.43 per hour

Location: Ridley Park, PA

This position is 100% onsite.

The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location option.

Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
