Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. is seeking a reliable Janitor to maintain sanitary conditions in employee facilities including lunchrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, hallways and stairways at our Richland site.

You will perform daily cleaning tasks, operate cleaning equipment, and ensure safety standards are followed. This full‑time role requires physical stamina and English communication skills to follow instructions and coordinate with team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; lock-out/tag-out, forklift, and sanitation certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains sanitary conditions in lunchroom, restrooms, locker rooms, hallways and stairways.
• Uses established cleaning procedures, chemicals, tools and techniques to maintain sanitary bathrooms and lunchroom.
• Cleans restrooms and stocks paper products and soap.
• Sweeps, mops and waxes hallways and cafeteria.
• Maintains a clean lunchroom; cleans tables, counters, floors and walls; empties trash and replaces liners.
• Washes windows and doors.
• Cleans warehouse offices and break room areas.
• Follows safety signs and barricades; handles cleaning chemicals safely.

Job Description Summary

The position is to clean and maintain sanitary conditions in the employee facilities such as: Lunchroom, Restrooms, Locker Rooms, Hallways, and Stairways. Using established cleaning procedures, chemicals, tools and techniques, maintains sanitary conditions in the Bathrooms, Lunchroom, and Locker Room.

Job Description

• Cleans restrooms including floors, stalls, urinals and toilets, sinks, fixtures and walls.
• Stocks restrooms with paper products and soap.
• Sweeps, mops and waxes hallways and cafeteria as required.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary lunchroom thorough cleaning of tables, counters, floors and walls; empty garbage cans and change liners.
• Wash windows and doors.
• Basic cleaning of Warehouse offices and Break room, Maintenance, Personnel and Supervisors offices.
• Proper use of Safety signs and Barricades.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals usage and technique
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic & Preferred Qualifications

Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred) High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.

Skills and Experience

Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English (both written and oral) (Requirement may vary by location). Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.

Physical Environment/Demands

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently. Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures. Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment. Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties. Ability to operate work related equipment Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation May have to sample food while evaluating Lamb Weston products Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis
