Job summary

SQC SOlutions is seeking a dependable janitor to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facility. You will perform cleaning tasks including vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, and carpet shampooing, along with basic maintenance such as replacing light bulbs and trash removal.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of janitorial experience, works well with cleaning equipment, and takes pride in a job well done.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of janitorial experience preferred.
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation required.
• Experience with cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Excellent stamina and physical health.
• Hard worker with high attention to detail and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the building.
• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash daily.
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, restock restrooms, and perform minor repairs as needed.
• Wipe spills and hazards with sponges and squeegees.
• Secure the building after cleaning is complete.
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs.

• Vacuum carpets, mop floors, scrub restrooms, dust furniture, and empty trash cans daily
• Clean windows, shampoo carpets, replace light bulbs, supply restrooms, and perform minor repairs on a regular basis
• Wipe up spills and other hazards with sponges and squeegees
• Secure the building by locking doors once cleaning is complete
• Write reports of areas cleaned and notify the manager of major repairs

• Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of experience in janitorial services
• Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the worksite
• Experience with a variety of cleaning supplies and cleaning equipment
