Job summary

American Greetings in Osceola, AR is seeking an evening janitorial associate to perform cleaning across offices, restrooms, break areas and cafeterias. You will operate floor buffers, scrubbers and vacuum cleaners to maintain a clean, safe environment under the Maintenance Supervisor's direction.

Requires at least 6 months of industrial cleaning experience; High School Diploma preferred; familiarity with cleaning chemicals and waste disposal is expected. Schedule: M-F 12:30 pm – 8:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months performing cleaning operations in an industrial setting.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, wash windows and clean all offices, restrooms, break areas, cafeterias, and other assigned areas.
• Operate power cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Disinfect restroom fixtures and replenish supplies as needed.

M-F 12:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums, wash windows, clean all offices, restrooms, break areas, cafeterias and all other areas assigned. Must know the proper use of all power cleaning equipment such as: floor buffers, scrubbers and vacuum cleaners.

Must know the proper use of chemicals to be used in the cleaning operations, replenishes supplies in restrooms, disinfects all restroom fixtures and empties waste receptacles, strips and refinishes tile floors in all offices and cafeteria areas using proper materials and equipment.

Perform other duties assigned. Work under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.

Experience Required

Minimum of 6 months performing cleaning operations in an industrial setting.

Education Required

High School Diploma preferred
