Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a diligent Janitor to maintain cleanliness of offices, break rooms and restrooms. The role requires following directions and working under supervision to uphold hygiene standards across non‑manufacturing areas.

Responsibilities include mopping floors, vacuuming offices, dusting surfaces, cleaning restrooms/break rooms, restocking supplies, and reporting equipment issues. Basic English and safety awareness are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a safe manner.
• Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions.
• Demonstrate ability to use tools and other equipment as required.
• Ability to pay attention to surroundings.
• Ability to identify safety issues in their work area, and notice equipment malfunctions.
• Ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work under immediate supervision.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work hours mandated by management.
