Champion Home Builders, Inc. in Ocala, FL is seeking a reliable Janitor to keep the facility clean and orderly. The role is full-time with an hourly starting rate that depends on documented experience and includes standard benefits.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, and common areas, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash, and reporting facility needs to management. The position requires safety awareness and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with policies
• Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally
• Must be able to do physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations
• Attention to detail
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism
• Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team

• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, restrooms, lunch areas and other areas
• Regularly sanitize common areas throughout the plant
• Empties trash and garbage containers
• Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment
• Cleans snow and debris from sidewalk
• Additional duties may be assigned as required

Summary
