Job summary

Champion Home Builders, Inc in Ocala, FL is seeking a General Construction Production worker to join our manufacturing team. Under general supervision, you will work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a fast-paced crew.

This is a non-exempt, entry-level role requiring the ability to perform manual labor, read measurements and blueprints, and operate common hand and power tools. We value reliability, teamwork, and safety.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education or minimal related experience.
• Previous experience in construction/manufacturing preferred.
• Able to read a tape measure and blueprints.

Position Summary

FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Summary: Under General supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing, as part of a team, and perform quality work in a fast-moving and consistent manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in construction and/or manufacturing/modular housing desired.
