Job summary

Morton Industries is seeking a dedicated Janitor to maintain clean plant and office spaces at our facilities in Illinois. The role involves daily cleaning tasks, trash removal, and coordinating with management for maintenance needs, ensuring a safe and orderly environment.

The ideal candidate will be organized, punctual, and dependable, with a strong work ethic and teamwork mindset to support a large manufacturing operation.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Keeps plant and office areas in neat, clean, and orderly condition.
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, cleans, and vacuums all areas as required (windows, walls, floors, fixtures, etc.).
  • Empties trash and garbage containers.
  • Notifies management concerning need for repairs.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Summary

Essential Functions
