Job summary

Morton Industries is seeking a dedicated janitor to maintain a clean and safe work environment across plant and office areas. You will perform routine cleaning tasks, manage waste, and report maintenance needs to ensure uninterrupted operations.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent and demonstrates reliability, attention to detail, and a strong safety mindset in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in janitorial duties is preferred.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Keeps plant and office areas neat, clean, and orderly.
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, cleans, and vacuums all areas as required.
  • Empties trash and garbage containers.
  • Notifies management concerning need for repairs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
