Apply now!**Location:**103 Captain's Corner - Charlevoix, Michigan 49720**Position Summary:**This role is responsible to ensure common areas of the store are clean and serviceable for Customers/Associates.**Here’s what you’ll do:*** Dust shelves and fixtures, clean windows, sweep/vacuum as needed* Assist in bottle room machine maintenance, empty full bins, return bins* Clean bathrooms daily; sweep and mop floors, sanitize sinks and toilets, refill paper toiletries* Sanitize shopping carts* Maintain cleanliness of cart return area and return left behind items back to the shelves* Sweep sidewalks free of clutter, trash and debris; ice/snow removal required during colder temperatures as needed* Utilize brooms, mop, floor scrubber, dusters and general store cleaning equipment and chemicals* Empty trash cans, inside and outside as needed.* Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines* Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations* Follow Guest Experience Guidelines* May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need* Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed**Here’s what you’ll need:*** High school graduate or equivalent (GED)* Good verbal communication skills: ability to interact politely and effectively with customers.* Good customer service and organizational skills; detail oriented.* Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required.**Physical Requirements:**The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
