Job summary

UFP Industries in Hillsboro, TX is seeking a Janitor to maintain the offices, plant break rooms and restrooms, and other non-manufacturing areas. The role works under direct supervision and follows specific directions to keep facilities clean and safe.

Duties include mopping floors, vacuuming, dusting desks, restrooms sanitation, restocking supplies, reporting equipment issues, and supporting general housekeeping.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of housekeeping experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a safe manner.
• Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions.
• Demonstrate ability to use tools and other equipment as required.
• Ability to pay attention to surroundings.
• Ability to identify safety issues in their work area, and notice equipment malfunctions.
• Ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work under immediate supervision.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work hours mandated by management.
