Job summary

EJ is seeking a janitor for our Franklin Foundry, onsite in Franklin, Kentucky. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing offices and manufacturing areas to maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

The ideal candidate will perform duties in line with OSHA and company safety policies, handle trash removal, restroom cleaning, floor care, and routine sanitation while upholding the company values of safety, integrity, and quality.

SUMMARY

Performs custodial duties to ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment within office and manufacturing settings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Promotes the culture, mission, vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.
• Follows all PPE requirements.
• Supports housekeeping standards aligned with OSHA and company safety protocols.
• Inspects work areas for safety hazards and reports concerns.
• Maintain breakrooms and conference rooms by emptying trash containers, replacing trash liners, sweeping and mopping floors, wiping and sanitizing tables and other high-touch surfaces daily.
• Clean and sanitize showers, locker room area, and restrooms, including floors, toilets, urinals, sinks, mirrors, fixtures, and other surfaces.
• Remove trash, empty trash containers, replace trash liners, and restock necessary supplies.
• Wash hard surface floors.
• Identifies and reports opportunities for safety and housekeeping improvements.
