UFP Industries, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Janitor to perform housekeeping across offices, break rooms, restrooms, and non-manufacturing areas. Work is done under close supervision with clear directions.

Responsibilities include cleaning surfaces, restrooms, refrigerators, and common areas; stocking supplies; and maintaining exterior grounds as needed. Safety and reliability are essential.

Formación

• Minimum 6 months of experience in housekeeping is preferred.
• Ability to work in a safe manner
• Demonstrates ability to follow specific instructions and directions
• Demonstrate ability to use tools and other equipment as required
• Ability to pay attention to surroundings
• Ability to identify safety issues in their work area, and notice equipment malfunctions
• Ability to understand basic verbal and written instructions in English.
• Ability to work under immediate supervision
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to work hours mandated by management

Responsabilidades

• Mops floors, vacuums offices, and dusts and wipes down desks, counters, and other surfaces in the office and break rooms.
• Cleans and scrubs toilets in restrooms.
• Cleans and scrubs refrigerator, microwaves, and ice machine.
• Ensures adequate supply of toilet paper, soap and paper towels is available in restrooms.
• Reports any problems or issues with equipment in restrooms and/or break rooms.
• Maintains adequate inventory on cleaning supplies
• Maintain the exterior of the property, ensuring outdoor areas are clean, safe, and visually appealing.
• Responsibilities include mowing lawns, trimming shrubs, planting flowers, and clearing debris.
• Handle trash removal, and perform seasonal work like snow or leaf removal.
• Performs other duties as required

Job Summary
