Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a reliable janitor to maintain our facility's cleanliness and security. You will perform cleaning tasks and assist with basic maintenance to keep the building in good condition.

Responsibilities include dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom sanitation, restocking supplies, and reporting repairs. The role requires a high school diploma and the ability to work in heat; on-site work with standard hours and safety-first

Qualifications

• Must have proven janitorial experience.
• Able to operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and MSDS.
• Must work independently with integrity.
• Able to work in heat conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

We are looking for a Janitor, or custodian,to take care of our building and carry out cleaning, maintenance and security duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Make adjustments and minor repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills Needed:

• Proven working experience as a janitor
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• Will be working in heat
• High school degree
