Job summary

PD York Company Inc is seeking reliable janitorial staff to perform cleaning duties across restrooms, kitchens, offices and common areas. Responsibilities include sanitizing surfaces, refilling dispensers, sweeping, vacuuming and mopping, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Applicants must be able to communicate in English, be at least 18 years old, and pass drug/alcohol screening and safety testing. A valid Alabama ID or Driver's License and Social Security Card are required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, refill dispensers, sweep, vacuum, and mop.
• Clean restrooms, kitchens, offices, conference rooms, break areas.
• Empty trash and remove grease from walls and doors.
• Follow directions and work as a team or independently.
• Prioritize safety as the number 1 policy.

Janitorial Service includes but not limited to: Clean, Sanitize, Refill Dispensers, sweep/vacuum and mop, remove grease from walls, and doors, empty trash cans.

Restrooms, Kitchens, Offices, Conference Rooms, Break rooms, Common Rooms, hallways, Stairwells, Elevators, etc..

Need energetic employees that take pride in their work, can follow directions and complete each daily task efficiently, working as a team and/orworking alone. Must be able to communicate in English, and speak up if the task is unclear.

SAFETY is the number 1 policy above all others.

Must be physically able to lift 25 pounds, use stairs and catwalks, job requireswalking.

Must be 18 years old or older

Must have Valid Alabama Picture ID or Drivers License, and Social Security Card,

All applicants must passDrug/Alcohol Screening and Online Steel Plant Safety Test Company pays for all Drug/Alcohol Screening, Safety Testand all P.P.E. required.

Starting Pay $11.00 per hour. Employees with Clear Valid Drivers License could be subject to a higher Hourly Rate, if moved up to Driver Position.

Monday thru Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm 30 minute Lunch Break

Saturday and Sunday 6:00am - 11:00am when scheduled.
