Job summary

Signature Health Inc is seeking a Counselor, Jail-Based, to provide counseling and crisis services primarily at the Ashtabula County Jail. This role involves direct patient interaction and requires a Bachelor's degree along with a valid license in the state of Ohio. You will assess and engage with clients in a variety of settings.

The successful candidate should have experience with substance dependency and collaborate effectively with other treatment providers. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and PTO programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Valid unencumbered LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, LIMFT or MFT License in the state of Ohio required.
• Possess a working knowledge of the disease concept of chemical dependency.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis and intake assessments at local jails and community settings.
• Maintain client charting in accordance with Medicaid and professional standards.
• Participate in weekly huddles with other treatment providers.
