Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking an Assembly 2 candidate to join our manufacturing team in the United States. You will assemble quality tools and support non-automated equipment like RF Sealer and skin card sealer according to product specifications.

In this role you will sort, count, 5S, replenish supplies, and assist in various tasks. You may back up other positions and help train teammates while upholding safety and production standards.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions and OMS.
  • Basic math skills are required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet takt/cycle time targets.
  • Follow work instructions and operate non-automated equipment.
  • Assemble components such as Gear Case, Motor Housing and Wiring Handles.
  • Train others in all areas and assist with material shortages.
  • Maintain safety and 5S standards and uphold production pace.

Your Role on Our Team:

The Assembler1is responsible forassembling quality tools and/or work on production equipmentnot automatedsuch as RF Sealer, skin cardsealeraccording to product specifications.Assistthe production areas in various tasks including sorting, counting, 5S activities, replenishing supplies, organizing stock, and assignments. May serve as a backup to other positionsatthe direction of management; other duties as assigned.


You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:


  • Perform work within takt/cycle time(40%)


  • Perform work per work instructions(40%)


  • Operate tools, presses,and equipment properly(40%)


  • Fullyoperateone assembly element (if applicable)(40%)


  • Gear Case


  • Motor Housing


  • Wiring Handles


  • Test and Pack


  • Work on non-automated equipment such as RF Sealer and other kitting functions(30%)


  • Train others in all areas(30%)


  • Inform proper personnel of material shortage(20%)


  • Scrap out partsand complete scrap ticket(20%)


  • Maintain production pace and standards(10%)


  • Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area(5%)


  • Practice and maintain 5Ss(5%)
