Job Description

The Jacks Monterey Bussers are responsible for assisting the Food Server in serving guests. They must have good communication skills, the ability to lift, pull and push moderate weight, and be willing to work with urgency in a fast-paced environment with continual customer contact.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Serve guests while adhering to customer service standards to enhance the guest experience.
  2. Maintain a friendly and helpful attitude towards guests and staff.
  3. Keep work areas and equipment clean.
  4. Clear, wipe down, and set tables for the next guests.
  5. Assist serving staff in delivering food to tables.
  6. Refill guest water glasses and coffee cups.
  7. Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards.
  8. Acquire food and beverage knowledge to communicate effectively with guests.
  9. Follow the company’s standards of conduct.
  10. Assist bartenders with bar back duties as scheduled.
